OMG!!! I woke up this morning to the news saying San Bruno was on fire!!! I lived there five years ago up the hill from that area. I have a lot of friends right there and am hopping they are ok. the news says one person dead but there is proably more in the houses... sigh...

Well, I live in Manhattan, NYC so there's a disaster pretty much everyday.
If anyone heard about the Times Square bombing, I was at a party two blocks away when it happened.
For anyone who didn't, basically this dude drove around Times Square with smoke coming out of his trunk. One guy called 911 and they found explosives and a timer in his trunk.

I live in Scotland... we are are the murder and drugs capital of Europe. We have high poverty and are mostly all alcholics. The weather is depressing and there is very little to do.... nice scenery though
Well, if we're not just talking about the present, I'm not sure if anyone can top 9/11, which happened just about two miles from my apartment.
