   I, of course, am Canadian. And if I hated the US or Americans, I wouldn't be dating one. :)

   That said, irrational anti-americanism is quite common with Canadians. I'd say more, but I wouldn't want to offend fellow canucks. :)

   (As a test sometime though... try asking a Canadian what it actually means to be a Canadian, or what "Canadian identity" is. 9 times out of 10, the phrase, "Not American" will somehow be included. Kinda sad that our national identity is apparently entirely dependent on another nation.)
