What are you good at that you do as a hobby?
Mine are most likely chess,rubik's cubes and basketball.
I suck at basketball and Rubik's cube. Chess is really fun but I've never beaten my dad even once because the more he's behind the more patient he gets, and I just start losing interest after a couple hours pass and my decisions become more rash. :) He suggested timed chess but I don't really like that either. I just like a game that lasts probably less than 30 minutes but not just rushing moves all the time either. Settlers of Catan is a fun game I like playing.
Right now I'm really heavily into parkour, but I haven't been training long enough to say that I'm good at it. I like song writing (guitar/singing). I'm OK at skateboarding; can do 4ft spine transfer (once rolled over a 7ft spine), 13ft drop in, indy grab off a sizeable ramp, shuvit, rocks.
My biggest hobby is obviously video games. I also suck at basketball. I play golf and tennis and enjoy chess. I also make movies and my art teacher enters then in contests. She is actually really happy because one of them won "The Michigan Film Festival" and continuses to win more. Along with all these I also enjoy the outdoors and gun shooting (mostly skeet shooting and shooting my dad's authentic M1 Carbine from WWII, complete with Bayonette). Yup that's me.........Mostly I just play video games.
I make little random moves myself, mostly for assignment, im thinking a bout making a music video...
I suck at chess.
Back when I was getting my undergraduate, for the AI course, I had to make a chess game. To this day, I don't know how smart it really was (or wasn't). It could beat me every time, buuut... that doesn't exactly say much. :)
Yeah... I still don't know the difference between snooker, billiards, and pool. :)
LOOOOOVE snooker although I'm not that good. Better at pool. I think snooker got lost in translation between us cousins across the pond. Pool is (depending on which type and rules) 7 red and 7 yellow (or 7 striped and 7 spotted) balls and 1 black played on a small table. Snooker is played on a big oong table with (approx) 15 reds, the you have black, pink, blue, green, brown and yellow.
Aaaaanyway, to the topic. Football (soccer) is my no.1 sport and I will be supoorting U.S.A. at the world cup because I am Scottish. (First person to work out why wins a prize). Ilove watching American sports and NHL is my fav American sportt.
Obviously love games too! :)

Snooker is a good game once get used to it. The skill and accuracy involved over the long distances needs to be spot on which is very hard to do. Ball control is alot harder and more you can do with the cue ball too with snooker. Pool is also good UK and USA pool but once start playing snooker it becomes easier in pool.

Who do you support Sparky? I think the America V Canada is mutual or am I wrong? I love America and would love to live there but Canada is my dream place to live, just ahead of Tokyo, Paris and NY.
Americans joke that canada has made no contributions except for maple syrup and we basically diss it and threten to blow it up. Most of the jokes are about their accent and the "mounties" on horseback that are the police. Beyond that I don't know why Americans hate canadians.
As for the Mutual thing, I wouldn't know because Americans really don't care what Canada has to say :D

Hey darkbluemullet , I'm a Stockport County fan. Terrible time we been having tho lately.
Ive only been to Florida but its really nice. My Fiance is from there. She doesn't have a problem with Canada. As she grew up in Miami its more the hispanics she grew up with that she has an issue with. But thats individual people not at any particular country.
Least England , Scotland , Wales and Ireland know why they hate each other , oh and the french of course haha

Yes, Canada hates America the same way. It's just a weird roommate thing. Anytime you live close to another nation,city,house or whatever there comes a natural animosity. The more you zoom in the more it continues.
I live in Ontario, you zoom into that province and people complain about the french in Quebec.
I live in Hamilton, you zoom in and everyone hates the people from Toronto.
Hamilton is divided into two areas, downtown and the mountain. I live on the mountain, zoom in and everyone on the mountain thinks downtown is a shithole.
Zoom into my house, my wife thinks I should cut the lawn more often.
It never ends, I think its just a part of human nature to have pride on whatever level and naturally hate anyone who has their own.
That being said Steve and I are an ambassadors of Love mending the borders between Canada and the US with adventure games.
I live in Michigan and live only about 20 min. from the bridge in Detroit (I live in a nice city about 10 min. from Detroit).
I think that is why my school and all others in the area are not big fans of Canada.
Also, in Michigan we have an Upper Penninsula and a Lower Penninsula. Basically it's the same issue.
