Ballads of Reemus pre-orders are currently unavailable (12/20/10), but will be back online very soon. If you would like to pre-order the game, please check this thread again to see if the system is back online first.
Hey Steve, When are the non pre-orders going to be allowed to play chapter 4?
@chompers626 Once Ballads is finished. Jay is primed to finish the last of the art for Ballads very soon, so hopefully we'll be getting it live in the fairly near future. We have no firm release date set yet.
best to let The Visitor:MCH get a good shelve life first. Too much of a good thing and all that!
First, I'll say I'm a big fan of the Reemus games. However, I'm starting to wonder if this game is ever actually going to be released. I think you guys jumped the gun as far as advertising goes.
The only thing we jumped the gun on was guessing a release date. Rookie mistake, excitement and optimism took over. The reality is, we're self funding the game and there's a lot of work involved. There's no studio here, I draw every single frame of animation, every item, every background by hand. So it's an incredible amount of work to get through. So I thank everyone for their patience so far.
Advertising a game early is part of the process, the word needs to get spread early and often so we don't wallow in obscurity once the game is finished.
If you think you're anxious to play it, multiply your feelings by 100 and that's how anxious I am to finish it.
That's why I'll be heading into the woods with my computer next week in an attempt to finish the last of the artwork. If I don't get eaten by a bear or go insane, I should emerge victorious.
If youre going to the woods you should watch SURVIVOR MAN in the science channel :D
Thank you, I needed that!
I will be in the woods, but I'll be looking at the trees from within a pretty sweet cottage. I won't be roughing it. Though trying to use a tablet from inside a tent in the middle of the wilderness would make an amazing youtube video.
wait a minute...
now that I look at it...
did you just fuse
balladsofreemus.com + clickshakegames.com ?
I like the new fusion, it seems less confusing than having an independent website and the background change makes it still retain an individual quality separate from the rest of the site.
@darkbluemullet ever heard of tinyurl? JK, but really it might help.
its awesome steve, now I can check the character cards without opening another page. :P
I'm so excited!! The games are always so creative and high quality... I pre-ordered, so I can't wait to play!
redrum? I still prefer TRAB PU KCIP. :)
(Or "Red room... over there.")
So... the forest is next week, right? As in, nothing that could, uh, interfere with any... I don't know... weekend plans or anything... *cough*
(ain't I subtle?)
Oh, and love the site's new look, Steve.
@wolee Thanks for the pre-order!
@Earl Glad you like the new look of the site (I took your advice).
its taking a lot of time to finish hope you will make it before the end of 2011
hey hey its fred here just wanna say Jay, Steve your both doing a great thing here. I havent seen a TRUELY GOOD point and click up until u guys showed up. keep up the great work. already pre-ordered ballads and i can't wait to see how it turns out
Thanks for your pre-order and your kind words Frederick!
We'll definitely get Ballads done this year. We're working on a contract for the BlackBerry PlayBook that includes putting Ballads on there very soon, so this should be what drives us to the finish line with this game.
@dominate330 I heard of tinyurl.com because I saw it in a youtube video discription.
Only vaguely related to the topic, but just seemed kinda odd...
Is the paypal address for preorders different from the address for donating (on the front page)?
You must log in to post.
