i feel bad for all the people who didnt pre order ballads of reemus and have to wait for chapter 4
i think that the ballads will be very fun and i hope that they have enough content in the game to last a while because i did'nt pay 10 dollars to get a 10 minute game. i also loved chapter 4 beastly blackhole of beauracracy and thought that they put a lot of hard parts in it but im not angry about that because that is how a true point and click game is supposed to be.
also tell people to come to my forum because i want to start a big forum like some other ones and i would also like steve or jay to visit my forum
Hi Jake, thanks for pre-ordering our game! Compared to Chapter 4, you'll find that Ballads of Reemus is a much bigger game.
look if you used my referal link you will have the game and me also so that is cool
ps:WHAT?
and by the way, yes i will make people visit this forum but come on dude make first of all an intresting conversation
He wont use your referal link mechingas, he already pre ordered the game. oh and yeah jay and steve say that the ballads will be like a regular game with a duration of 2 or more days.
a few things because i was off for a while. one, mechingas what wouldyour idea of an interesting topic be? and second thank you for commenting steve and thank you for clearing my questions up and if the ballads are longer than chapter 4 it will be long because chapter 4 was perfectly hard. lastly, i hope you and jay use the preorder money to make a new premium game and you can make sure my money will be in the preorder money
oh dang 2 days is a while especially for an online game that isnt call of duty or halo or something
@jake you do know that they live off the money and I doubt they track or redirect the money for people's benefit.
Also I don't get what you implying with cod and halo, the average game time is 8-12 hours.
@spookspoon they never said it was 2 days they said couple hours.
of course they did, I remember perfectly.
me: meh but most of the games I play, I finish them in about 2 or more days :T
Jay (or maybe steve): well 2 days of fun seems reasonable for 10 dollars.
I seriously doubt ballads will be 12-24 hours long. I'm guess to more of 4-6 which is reasonable for $10. Also if your not crazy about it 2-3 hours a day make it 2 days of fun.
I don't think we ever stated 2 days of play. We're making a game that is longer than regular Reemus games, to give you an idea there's about 30 new backgrounds in this and 27 new characters. So it has some meat to it, expect to travel to some new environments, get to explore Reemus' hometown, meet some of the locals. I feel as though you'll get your moneys worth. It's not a 10 minute game.
Personally, as far as the point-n-click style games go, I didn't find Chapter 4 all that difficult--but I prefer that. If they're too hard, I just get too frustrated and it's less fun. What's always drawn me to the Reemus games is the fact that the storyline is interesting and amusing, there are intelligent puns, and while I may get stumped, the game is fun. They have the same qualities as The Secret of Monkey Island. I don't doubt that Ballads will be even more comparable to SoMI. Also, I find that any console game that has good story should provide a minimum of 6 hours of gameplay (as far as older games go) and a rough maximum of 12 of main storyline. If enough side story and such are included, a good game should easily exceed 50 hours. Then again, I'm a hardcore RPG fan. :)

I'm focusing on telling a complete story over 3 acts, with lots of characters and places to visit. Some puzzles are small, some are really big reaching across 9 screens. If you finish it and felt like you had a good time, then hopefully you consider it a good game regardless of whether it took you 2 hours or 48 hours to beat.
Jay, quality over quantity should always be the ClickShake way of thinking. Us gamers are greedy. i.e. We want it all. A never eneding game that is a helluva lot of fun to play every second of the way through it... not possible. Every Reemus game has been excellent and has steadily gotten better and better. I don't care how long Ballads lasts (as long as it it isn't 5 mins) as long as it keeps the Reemus charm!
i do not have a ballads pre order cause my mom wont pay with credit cards online sad i wanted reemus 4 now like my pals here on clickshake
