Ithink the new 3D T.V's will fail. Does anyone really want to sit on their sofa, in their living room, with 3D glasses on to watch the news? It's bad enough for films I think. However, when it comes to gaming.....no different from wearing a headset IMO.

Actually i like 3d. Disney does it great. their 3d glasses are like slightly tinted regular glasses, no batteries or anything.

The only 3D i've seen would be 3D movies and they came with those free cheap paper things. It was OK.

I would never bother with glasses for anything that I'd want to use frequently. (Well, except for my eyes. If my vision ever went, I'd use glasses)

You have to keep them somewhere handy, but still dust-free. You have to keep batteries around for them. Just too much hassle, even if they were only five bucks each.
On the other hand, for glasses-free (as with the 3DS, and presumably cellphones pretty soon, since that's what the screens are 'really' for), it's somewhat intriguing.

To be honest though, the biggest allures of the 3DS to me are the fact that it's more powerful to support more interesting new games, the fact that they'll all be able to support downloading (so hopefully it'll receive better support than the DSi), and the NES Max-style analog stick. :)
The point is, 3D is a nice gimmick, but it isn't enough to make or break an experience for me.

Whats your take on 3d (games,tv,3ds). I personally hate anything that you have to wear $150 glasses on top of your own glasses if you have them.
